The consultation gives a thorough overview of the key areas that new puppy parents have to deal with.  Bobs shares best practice to avoid common problems and gives lots of expert tips to help you to communicate with your puppy.  She explains how puppies learn so you can adapt techniques to different situations.  The consultation gives you a good insight into puppy behaviour so you can mange early challenges. Bobs also includes easy to follow routines that bring some order and consistency to the first few weeks. There's a lot of information to share in 2 hours and Bobs has fine-tuned the content from over 20 years of supporting Puppy Parents.

The consultation covers the essential information but the full Package offers ongoing advice and training to really maximise the pre-vaccination stage.  It's not just making good use of this time, it's actually the most important time because by 14-16 weeks of age, you puppy has lived through the most influential time of its life. This is because puppies at this age absorb every experience and encounter. It just makes sense to utilise the time to nurture positive outcomes.

So, I recommend the consultation if you are a seasoned dog owner and want to learn modern training methods, perhaps avoid previous problems or if you just want to give your puppy a good start and want reassurance you're doing everything right.

Bobs has run puppy training classes for over 18 years and more and more seen how puppies could be better prepared before attending them.

You will be amazed how much your puppy can learn at this young age and training one-to-one with Bobs over 5-6 weeks will equip you with a science-led, kind approach to raising your puppy and will give you the confidence to make good decisions for your puppy.

If you are a first time puppy parent, not had a puppy for many years or, simply want to make the most of this precious time and accelerate your puppy's learning, I recommend the Package.

It's best to book a consultation (either as a one off booking or as part of the Package) a week or two before you bring your puppy home so you're guaranteed a date during your puppy's initial weeks.

When selecting a date, allow a day or two for your puppy to settle into your new home and take into account any vet appointments you may need to attend.

The consultation is designed for puppies first week so you get a flying start, but can be booked for 8-11 week-old puppies.

Little Tip: Check with the breeder the type of vaccination your puppy will have and then tell your puppy's vet and book your puppy's first vet appointment in advance of collection. This way you will have the earliest appointment possible and the sooner your puppy is vaccinated, the sooner you can socialise them. This is also good as you can use the vet appointment for a puppy health check - something I recommend.

The consultation lasts 2 hours and is held online or in-person within a 6 mile radius from Lichfield Cathedral, Staffordshire. For in-person bookings simply book from any of the links.
