Dog Knows Dog Training

with Bobs Broadbent

 Hi, I'm Bobs

I've been helping dog parents and dog professionals for over twenty years and now I coach and support new puppy parents with Pre-vaccination Puppy Training and assistance dog partnerships with Assistance Dog Training.

I work one-to-one to meet your specific needs and to ensure your dog's full potential is unlocked.

All my training is rooted in kindness, science and a wealth of experience and I'm here for you when you need my help.

Why Train With Bobs?

Train with Bobs

Pre-Vaccination Puppy Training

Training starts as soon as  your puppy arrives home with you.

There's no time to waste and puppies arrive ready to learn. Bobs's years of experience ensures training is fun and purposeful and age-appropriate for your puppy. Pre-vaccination training is perfect for all puppy parents and brings the extra reassurance that your puppy is getting the best start.

Training from the pre-vaccination stage is very much about futureproofing puppies so what they learn early in life provides lifelong building blocks for a well-adjusted and resilient adult dog. Pre-vaccination Training sets the foundations for happy puppyhood.

Unlock Your Puppy's Potential

Assistance Dog Training

If you're not able to start at the young puppy stage you can begin later for all round training including towards the Public Access Test.  Bobs woks as an assistance dog trainer for Darwin Dogs, in and around Lichfield, Staffordshire.  You may be able to train with her through Darwin Dogs* to work towards taking the Public Access Test, or alternatively, independently to support your owner-trained assistance dog training either to take the PAT with another organisation or to improve task skills without taking the PAT.

*Please be advised that Bobs cannot guarantee acceptance by Darwin Dogs but she can support your application, if you meet their requirements and she has availability.

The programme offers 6, 12 or 24 week training plans.

Every puppy needs careful nurturing to grow into a resilient and happy adult dog and ensuring your puppy isn't overwhelmed is essential too. All guidance and training from Bobs uses science-based and stress-free methods and Bobs ensures learning is fun as well as purposeful.

Just like people, no two dogs are the same, and just like people, dogs flourish when they feel safe and have a sense of belonging. Only then can they wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to the lives of humans.

Damien & Puppy Sammy

Training with Bobs has been brilliant. Having had dogs all my life I was surprised how much I have learned and I looked forward to each online puppy training session. Bobs gave me lots of tips I didn't read about anywhere else, which were an excellent help and everything made sense.

Mike, Mark & Puppy Elma

As a first-time puppy owner we are grateful for the professional knowledge and guidance Bobs has given us. We started before our puppy was fully vaccinated, which I highly recommend as the support was valuable and really beneficial and Bobs was very patient with all our questions.

H & Gryff

Bobs is compassionate, understanding and is happy to adapt to my needs.  She is so knowledgeable and has taught me so much about my dog so our bond is much closer now.  We would never have been able to become a successful assistance dog partnership without weekly training sessions with Bobs."
